Has anyone been having problems with Xbox Live and trying to play CoD4 multiplayer lately???
 
What problems are you having. Without telling anyone what the problem is we cant help you. my diagnosis is that with the information i have, the ethernet lead is plugged out :(
 
Try resetting your router and your modem, used to work for me with the xbox.
 
It hasn't been very reliable lately. I have to sign into Xbox Live manually now and it takes a lot longer. In CoD4 it has a hard time starting a game.
 
I've been having all sorts of problems with xbox live since yesterday. Troubles signing in, updating achievements, browsing the marketplace etc.
 
Microsoft must be doing somthing with their servers. should be resolved soon.

Its a bit of downtime its not the end of the world :p. Super nintendo FTW!
 
Is it still going on right now?

I couldn't recover my account or find a server or get on COD4 all night. Then about 12 it started working.

I hope I don't have the same problem today.

im trying hard not to drive over to circuit city and buy a ps3 and ut3 to play, i keep hoping M$ gets this fixed like by tonight or ill end up buying that tomorrow :\
 
meh, xbl JUST started working for me for the first time since christmas eve

p.s. ps3 sucks, cept if you are going to fold.
 
Everybody relax - XBL's been having some problems since Christmas. I myself have played a lot of COD4 online but have encountered numerous connection issues recently. Microsoft will address it and we'll forget about this shortly.

Buying a PS3 in response to intermittent issues would be a bit of an exaggeration.
 
It was crap for me for about three days up until roughly 11pm yesterday. still had some issues with keeping people in games, and random disconnects in CoD4 though. Played pretty smooth after that up until I just stopped 15 mins ago.
 
This is not a new issue. It all started the Saturday before Christmas.

Of course, MS has been 'working hard' on it every since.
