Xbox led's

Hello fello hardforum'ers. I was just looking around for some places on the net to buy some xbox led mods. I have seen system-mods.com and customxbox.com, but they don't have the front led. I was really just looking for a custom jewel, a led or leds under the jewel, and a led for the front circle around the eject button. I was just wandering if you guys know of any other good sites.

um just buy leds and replace the leds that are in there already. And for the jewel, well just soulder up 4 of them and connect to molex to 5v or 12v and there you have it. Problem solved.

eh thanks but i was looking for a place to buy them. I know what to do, I jsut don't know where to get them.

Its all in the HardGuide.... If you want a better glow than LEDs, you can use a circular neon under the jewel.

Yea as far as the jewel is concerned, I have 8 led's from radioshack hooked up and they just aren't doing it at all.

There is a disadvantage to using neon though... it heats up the plastic like hell. Not enough to warp it, but definitely enough to be hot to the touch. Im not sure what effect this has on system temps, but it cant be good. It looks damn sweet though

yeah........Ummm there are pics on customxbox.net on the 8 3mm led circle thingys that go under the jewel..........they look pretty bright, but we all know companies deceive you like that *cough* skins *cough*

I bought a chrome skin from GCSkins, p******* me of. It had a bad finish, was paper thin, and was badly cut. The GC vinyl skins I got was quite high quality though.
