Xbox harddrive

I would like to replace my xbox harddrive with a bigger one. I understand that I need a cool running harddrive in order to do this and the harddrive will also have to be "locked" by the xbox bios
I'm looking for a harddrive between 250gb and 500gb

any recommendations?

any hdd will work, its not the temp of the hdd that matters. Its the fact that you'll need a moddified xbox to even install the larger hdd and take advantage of it.

The hard drive only needs to be locked if you have a mod chip that allows itself to be disabled so that you can boot with it turned off to play xbox live. If you dont have xbox live then any hard drive will do.
