Looks like Microsoft is extending their back-compat program (which covers original Xbox and Xbox 360 games running on XB1 and XBSX|S) to PC: https://news.xbox.com/en-us/2026/07/22/xbox-backward-compatibility-on-pc/
Starting out with just 4 original Xbox games. I hope Microsoft ends up making Xbox 360 games available as well.

This would have been good to have when I bought Crimson Skies a few years ago. After testing it on my original Xbox I played through it on my XB1. Well now I can play it on PC too. Officially I mean, cuz Xbox emulation has always been an option. Same for X360.
