xbox 360 + x-fi question

could i plug the red and white cables from the xbox 360 sound into the front bay of an x-fi platinum? also, could i use the digital cable into it even though i only have anolog speakers? thanks 4 any help :cool:
 
Im assuming you currently have your xbox playing sound through your tv, and you want to be able to get the 5.1 or 7.1 from the speakers that you have on your computer.

But yes, you can use the optical connection from your xbox to the x-fi because the x-fi will convert the signal to analog for your speakers. That will proably give you the best quality out of your set up.
 
i use the x-fi cus its in my computer and has great sound 4 games, but i want 2 use it 4 xbox 2.
