xbox 360 screen tearing over VGA

Did this rear its ugly head after another MS update? I hadn't logged into Live for months and after logging in last night for an update, VGA screen tearing is back. I tried playing The Bourne Supremacy HD-DVD but was greated with a horizontal tear throughout almost the entire movie.

Even the dashoard has the same horizontal tear when switching to different categories. This wasn't happening before the update... and it can't be my eyes, they're getting progressively worse not better

Aieee... soy muy estupido...
It seems that cold booting the 360 fixed the problem.

Don't have any tearing but....the pages in live seem to move faster for me now and everything goes a little quicker.

I haven't had any problems with my 360, on my monitor.
