I am considering getting a sony fw900 crt 24 inch. My question is If I get a xbox 360 in the future will it look like crap? Whata bout for a gamecube? Thanks

xbox 360 will run at 1080i through a vga adapter from microsoft and look KICK ASS. the gamecube will still look good, but not as much detail and will b running at either 480 i or p. you would have 2 pick up a special component to vga adapter 2 use the cube tho. xbox 360 will haul on that screen.

the xbox will not run at 1080i it will run at 720p, the vga cable resolutions are


640 x 480
848 x 480
1024 x 768
1280 x 720
1280 x 768
1280 x 1024
1360 x 768

and yes that monitor is hd

crt's are not like lcd's which only look good at one native resolution. That's the beauty of a crt, they look great at all the supported resolutions. The FW900 is definitely and unquestionably high-definition in ever sense of the word.

I bet the xbox 360 will kick ass on the FW900

Wow, you seem to copy my idea's. Lol. Are you switching to a 3200+ also. Just kidding man, CRT's are not like LCD's, CRT's look fine at different rez's they don't have a native rez. Also, check out mathesar's thread on the FW900, he's got plenty of 360/fw900 pics.
