Current Situation:
2 Desktops
Desktop A
Desktop B

1 Laptop

Desktop A is the main one, is the one hooked up to the router
Desktop B uses wifi
Laptop also uses Wifi

I am connecting the xbox 360 to the laptop through ethernet and everything is fine.
Except that the xbox 360 can only see the laptop and not the other desktops where I house my music and movies (videos).

How would I enable the laptop and 360 to see the other desktops?
And yes, I can share between the computers.
I am using WMP11 or should I use Zune software?

Just to be clear, you're hooking the X360 to the router via a network cable and then you can see the laptop from your xbox? If not, you need to make some adjustments to your network. Actually I can't really be sure what the state of your network is. Are the laptop and desktop B connected to wifi that you have no control over (ie- public, no access to router)? Or are you running a wireless router that desktop A is connected to through a wire and the other machines use the wireless?

You should be able to select the source of your media and see the stuff on your desktops from the Media blade tabs. Make sure media sharing is enabled for the xbox on all computers and that you've got the stuff added to the WMP library on each machine. I know when I first did this there was a bit of a delay between the time that I got my media added to my WMP library and when it showed up on my xbox but I really don't know why, it should just work.

the xbox is connected through the ethernet of the laptop and Desktop A connects through wire, and is my home wifi.

Make sure uPNP is enabled on the router, try reinstalling, theres a bunch of people having this problem, myself included until i reinstalled.

Does it not see them at all, or does it only not see the streamed music?

If the latter, you need to make sure you set up the music you want to stream as a WATCHED FOLDER. If you just drag your music onto the WMP11 lilbrary to add it, it will not share/stream that music.

I consider this a bug. MS probably considers it a "Design Decision".
