The amazingly talented Benjamin Heckendorn has taken the wraps off of the latest version of his famous Xbox 360 laptop. There are two dozen pictures of this black and green beast over at Engadget.

Am I the only one who thinks these Xbox 360 "laptop" mods look like crap?

It's boxy, ugly, and not even something that is portable without a battery (it needs to be plugged in the whole time you use it!).

Atleast I hope that this time the keyboard is usable. Last time wasn't it just for aesthetic reasons (though it makes it look ugly and stupid. Why put a ugly keyboard on an ugly box that isn't even usable?

I think it looks way better than the last one. Much cleaner build overall.

I think most people are impressed with:

A.) Design
B.) Time
C.) Effort
D.) Skill

The "looks" for me are a distnat 10th on the list. I just think it is cool as hell ;)

Now, make a ps3 laptop :). I guess it will be harder as a ps3 has a curve in it. (if you guys understand what I mean)

Anyways, nice job!

Your website looks like crap.

Anyways thats a nice mod, low profile and includes its own monitor to game on.

Looks like he used a laptop keyboard this time which should work better. The hinge's are more elegant too.
