Is this thing is always on, even when the Xbox is turned off?

Wow, that sounds horrible with all the recent NSA revelations. i realise you can power it down, but honestly who's going to do that 6 months from now when you're used to it in the living room and you've forgotten all that just happened.

Did you just wake up from under a rock or something? Why is this even posted in General Hardware is beyond me in the first place.

Microsoft has already made a PSA stating that the Kinect camera will NOT always be on. :rolleyes:
