Hi, my PC is freezing randomly. out of nowhere and the only thing you can do when it happens is shutting down the PC. I'm using it after a fresh windows installation. It might be related to the windows update but I clearly don't have a clue. In fact I feel it's more probably that it happens when I'm not fully utilizing it than when stressed. So I've touched the Power Settings and such , even in Bios with no good result yet. For instance I was able to pull out a full 2:30 hours of AIDA Stress with no issues and it felt like if I could have done for a lot more time too.

Bluescreenviewer doesn't show any dump file either. So if someone can help me, I'll be vaery greatfull, since I'm having my two rgs with issues roght now and I need them to work. Thanlks in advance!

any help? BTW I'm using WIN10 and any tip or idea to try, I'm all ears since my two rigs (this oen and the 1151 8700K) are not working and I actually need at least one for my job

Finally after restarting I've got a BSOD:

I found this by googling classpnp.sys

https://www.chrisnewland.com/solved-windows-7-hang-on-boot-classpnpsys-64

Maybe try changing the SATA controller from AHCI to compatibility mode.

or try this stuff:

https://www.drivereasy.com/knowledge/classpnp-sys-blue-screen-in-windows-10-7-heres-the-fix/

Thanks man, thought those links are more related to not booting (thought yeap, lately I had some BSOD when booting, the next rebbot after all of them initiates windows...and the otehr thing is that both are more WIN7 related and I'm on WIN10, nonetheless I'll try it and see what happens, thanks!

BTW I've ran a software calle "whocrashed" and gave me these results:

Conclusion
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
3 crash dumps have been found and analyzed. No offending third party drivers have been found. Connsider using WhoCrashed Professional which offers more detailed analysis using symbol resolution. Also configuring your system to produce a full memory dump may help you.
Read the topic general suggestions for troubleshooting system crashes for more information.
Note that it's not always possible to state with certainty whether a reported driver is responsible for crashing your system or that the root cause is in another module. Nonetheless it's suggested you look for updates for the products that these drivers belong to and regularly visit Windows update or enable automatic updates for Windows. In case a piece of malfunctioning hardware is causing trouble, a search with Google on the bug check errors together with the model name and brand of your computer may help you investigate this further.

Maybe see if it crashes in safe mode (hopefully it won't) then it would most likely be a driver or service type of software running on your pc. Go to task manager start up tab and disable all there. Last time this happened to me it turned out it was an Asus printer sharing utility that i didn't even remember installing that was the culprit

I've just checked two PSUs and both freezed (both are great BTW, a seasonic 850 Gold and a SF600), so I guess that the PSU being the problem it's out of the question...I have reinstalled windows minutes ago, let's see what happens

Install the latest drivers for your motherboard that you will download from the manufacturers site.

Do the same for your video card.
