Hi. I had made a post a long time ago about this and didn't get any help so I'm hoping this time will be better.
I have an 8800GT and an x850xt. My 8800GT is my main card but I had to RMA it to be repaired/replaced so i'm using my old x850xt. Now I LOVE my x850xt and I think it's a PERFECT back up card but the problem is I get some insane artifacts. This card gets 60FPS in COD4 at 1280 x 1024 on high settings (no AA) and I love that I can have a backup like that.
But as I said above it artifacts like crazy, this only happens when I install the drivers to. Some things that I don't think are the problem are...
-It's not overheating, I have very low temps on all my parts.
-It's not OCed and when it's underclocked I still get the issue
-It's definently the x850xt because I've swaped out other parts and on my 8800GT I don't get this issue
-It happens on any drivers not just the most recent ones that I get from AMD/ATI.
I have a 2nd question pertaining to my 8800GT. I get shitty FPS with my 8800GT so I RMAed it. Basically, Shitty FPS = my x850xt gives me better results. If I get my 8800GT back and they try to tell me nothing is wrong with it I may just try to sell it. If I sell it what would be another good card to get. I only play at 1280 x 1024 (max) and I don't have Vista so I should have a nice selection.

P.S. I can provice SS's of artifcating if needed. The odd thing though is I always get artifacting EXCEPT in games. In games I only get artifcating maybe half the time.
