Just bought this card
x850xt

seems like it's going to be hella-loud. Anybody know what the best cooler would be to silence it?

I'll be using a microfly case so I'm a little iffy about the psu sucking up all the heat from the video card b/c then it'll ramp up the psu fan (I'd rather the video card cooler push the air out by itself). Are the artic silencer coolers any good compard to the zalman vf-700/vf-900 ?
 
i wouldnt get anything less than the vf700cu, the silencers are nice and quiet but i dont think they are good enough to keep an x850xt cool
 
Crap, I just bought this card too. While noise isn't an issue...(I have 6 fans), isn't this thing going to exhaust into the rest of my case?

So I have more hot air to worry about.
 
no it exhausts air out the back of the case from the looks of it , its the same style as the x18/1900 series cards :) but they are loud
 
what I meant is that stock probably isn't enough cooling if I undervolt the fan for noise issues, so I need to replace it.
(I don't wanna listen to my comp hum when i sleep)

My first thought was vf900, but I'm concerned about the heat output. I'd rather have the gpu cooler exhaust the heat directly out of the case instead of into the power source.

so, I was wondering if there's something as good as the zalman coolers but directly exhausts it out of the case like this stock cooler does. I was mainly asking if artic silencer is comparable to zalman since its design is more favorable for my microfly; on the other hand, I was hoping there might be some other awesome cooler to consider b/c the thermal pads on the artic silencer seem to suck.
