X850XT PCI-e Mad performance?

i just got my new comp up and running....these are the specs

Sapphire X850XT PCI-e STOCK CLOCKS
AMD 3000+winnie w/zalman 92mm cooler w/blue LED's STOCK CLOCKS
MSI+ATI mATX mobo w/ATI xpress 200Chipset
1GB Corsair 2-2-2-5 w/ LED's not sure if they are acctually @ 2-2-2-5
520watt silver stone PSU ATX 2.0
80GB WD SATA HDD
WinXP Pro SP1

got a 3dmark03 score of 11531 didnt bench anything else, I really have no OCing options yet b/c of the BIOS on this MOBO, and i cant get much info from CPU-z or everst home edtion b/c of the BIOS (once agian) i dont know if the card is running @ 16x as well.

If any of you have idea/comments please LMK

That is not a very good score you know that right... on 3dmark03... what you get on 05

I am getting 13048 with my rig, have a pic if u dont believe me

Sounds like you may want to look into putting some money down on a new mobo NF3 shipset

there is 2 problems with that......1 that NF3 is AGP 2ndly that there arent any good ones that are mATX and 939......

opps sry i meant NF4 but i dont know if you can get a mATX for that neither... but good luck... I just know that the ATI chipsets are no good
 
If your'e not sure your ram settings are at 2-2-2-5...go and check. My Nforce3 board aut-set my 2-3-3-6 ram to 3-6-6-8. When I changed it I had a HUGE difference in performance....check your voltage after you re-set your ram.
 
What do you mean he's not getting a very good score? Compared to your computer (which has a faster clocked X800, and a P4 that is faster) and he's only 2000 back its pretty damn good.

He has a 700$ video card though man, and he does have a nice computer he just needs a new mobo thats all... My card is OCed to x850 clocks you are right but still he should be getting better scores
 
wierd stuff is happening with this set up....my video core just said it was @ 1048mhz and @ 45c.........and getting in the single digets in 03 fram rates......

Actually, the X850XT (non-platinum) go's for $449 for a Connect 3D or $459 for a Sapphire

I know, still a lotta cash, but almost $250 less than what you were thinking

Will do and i did not know if the card is PE or not so sry, and i would get rid of that mobo if i was him, but that is just me and if you dont like it dont listen to me simple as that

I have a AMD 64 3200+, 768MB PC3200 MSI Neo2 F MOBO and a MSI 6600GT 128MB DDR3(AGP). I get a score of 8000+ is that good for my card or not so much?
 
R!P13y, he most likely payed less for his videocard than you did. Not only that, but yours is overclocked higher than his. There's a reason for why his score is lower than yours. Then you have a faster processor too. If anything, your score is low, but that's a different topic....

Yes, his non-OC'd winnie is holding him back right now. The chipset is rather new and hopefully MSI will get some good OCing BIOS out soon for it. I see lots of potenial in your set up. BTW: How far can you push the graphics card?

i took my card to 600@590 on stock air cooling @ 70c the score above was not with these clocks FYI
