X850pro Game Crashes

I just bought a x850 pro cause my 9700 pro was artifacting really bad and now when i play games like WOW mostly it will let me play for random ammounts of time.Sometimes 1-2 mins or 20 mins then it will do a black screen and i hear music looping in background. I usually end up having to reboot is this a driver issue i have used all ati drivers trying to fix it and have removed all remenats of old drivers before i installed them.
 
It could be lots of things including hardware problems. It could be power supply problems in which case you should check your voltages and make sure it can deliver enough current (especially for 12 volts). It could also be AGP instability in which case you should slow down your AGP port and try disabling fast writes. There's a list of things to try here.
 
Well lemme give you a for instance of whats happening and i got around it i was playing WOW and a min into it the screen goes black.Then i reboot the computer i re log back on as a diffrent char and log out right away and log back in as the original one that got the black screen the first time.If i got enough luck left that far i usually can play for hours and hours till im rdy to log off not having got botted the whole time.But also i installed GTA vice city to try it on that too and it does same thing so i know its not blizzard.
 
That sounds more like a driver problem than hardware. You could try the old "uninstall your drivers, run DriverCleaner, reinstall the latest drivers" drill to see if it makes any difference. But given that your screen's going black I'd still try slowing down your AGP port to 4X using SMARTGART. I've seen quite a few ATI black screen issues fixed that way. It only takes a couple of minutes to try.
