x850 XT Overclocking Program

Overdrive in the CCC doesn't work that badly for mild oc'ing for XT cards, I use it on my X850 XT PE and get around 585 core, 620 mem stable on air.

I also used to pull capasitors off the front of the card...that seemed to make my OC higher for some reason. As a rule, each capasitor is about 10MHz core increase.

ROFL!

Why don't I have the Overdrive tab for my X8XL?

Fairly sure it only comes on the X8xxXT cards, not the others. Because of the temp monitoring capabilities of these cards, which is an integral part of the Overdrive feature.

Temp monitoring works on my Powercolor XL (with tray tool)..

Mehh....maybe overdrive is just retarded and people who are [H]ard have no need for it....

I'm using ATI Tool 0.24 for my X850XT-PE. Gives you easy control of clock frequencies, fan speed and temp monitoring.
