X800XTPE In a SFF?

I'm getting in an SN95G Shuttle next week. I plan to have the following added to it:

Athlon64 3200+ Winchester
2x512 GeiL PC3200 (blue heatspeaders)
120 Gig 8mb Cache Hard Drive
DVD Burner
X800XTPE GFX Card

I was just wondering if this would be a stable setup. I'm scared the PSU would maybe be insufficient or I will have over heating problems. Does anyone have an X800XT in there system? What are you max load temps?


Would it be better to have it in my main full size ATX rig?

Also wondering which setup would give me the best performance gaming wise.

Will the XTPE fit in a G chassis? I thought the graphics card slot was next to the case side, so only single-slot cards would fit (like my SN41G2.)

The X800XTPE is a single slot cooled card. It will fit I'm pretty sure, but the heat issues is what I'm conserned about.

Thats cool. So would I see better performance in the shuttle since it being Socket 939 or in my Socket 754 Full ATX case? I think I'll end up sticking it in the shuttle as I frequent LAN partys often.

Also, does that SN95G support dual channel memory? I thought Socket 939's had support for it but on newegg it doesn't have it listed.

The Nforce 4 shuttle has the videocard layout on the other end for dual slot cooled videocards =P

Mine is working fine with the X800XT (non-PE). GPU runs 80+C under load but they're designed to run hot.

Power shouldn't be a problem either (see sig).

The FN95 motherboard used in the SN95G5 system supports dual -channel RAM. No need to get into a duel over it.
