I know the PE is "better" but how much better is it and is it worth the price?
 
Well, at this point, the PE is the only one "somewhat" available. The regular XT, runs a tad slower clockwise, but otherwise is the same thing. The price difference between the 2 would be the biggest factor. If you can get the PE for a few bucks more, I'd go with that. If its like $100 difference, I'd go with the XT. However, I haven't seen anything on the XT being available anytime soon.
 
any links or benchmarks to back that? I trust what your saying and thought the same thing befor hand but would like to see exact differences, also im not going to be getting one for a few more months so availibility and current cost differences arent really weighting in on my mind set yet.
