Call of Duty 2 runs terrible on my X800XT PE. Im wondering if its a patch or driver update i need to change this. Anyone else with any ATI X8XX series having this problem??

Thanks

runs fine with my AX800 pro. Whats your system like? What drivers are you using? here's my system:
-FX-55
-Asus AX800 PRO
-1024mb PC3200
-74gb WD 10K RAPTOR
-K8N NEO 2 Platinum

I have a P4 3.2@3.8Ghz Prescott,1.5GB memory, and CAT 5.10's
runs at like 10-30fps. terrible

I like the omega 4.12 drivers. They just seem to work best for me. You should give them a try. Although there does seem to be a problem other than just bad drivers here. Do you use driver cleaner when you reinstall drivers? Is your computer free of spyware and viruses?

im running it at 1024, 2x AA and 2xAA Adaptive, 16X AF. In the game i have most stuff on extra and have it set to Direct x 9. Even with no AA and stuff still runs like crap. I dont get it.

In Quake 4 i run it at 4x Adaptive / 16xAF high quality and runs pretty good. like 60fps or so. in Single play i can run that with Ultra settings and its pretty smooth. It stutters here and there but runs good and looks amazing. Go into COD2. its a joke

I think its your PC (hate to say it) cause I have the same settings for the COD2 demo and i was gettting 30FPS also with my current pc in my sig.

try turning off adaptive atleast...the x800 series doesn't even have hardware acceleration for it

It does support it but it's an unoptimised and unofficial feature and will be for a few drivers yet I imagine

oh wow guys runs amaizingly well on my rig, I average 45-50fps, everyhting on max 2xaa 1280x1024. I am using Cat 5.10

hey i dont think its my system spec at all. its something driver or patch wise. As for unlockable yea it is. All u do is go back in and change the values from 1 to 0 on your ASTT_NA files in your registry. Restart and there it is. I run Adaptive AA all time now. U lose about 10fps sometimes if that, but it looks drastically better. Fences, trees, bars dont move at all; doesnt pixelate.

im in the same boat 40 frames or so

12x10 all high and AA on

the reason why im getting shitty fps is because of AF. When i put my drivers on Application pref and run the game setting at 16x AF it runs great. When i put on 16x AF in my CCC panel runs like crap. 1/3 the speed. Im wondering if there is a auto setting for AF in COD2 like AA??

Thanks
