I recently purchased a gigabyte x800xt and i was looking at the 3dmark scores and it seems that the 6800 ultra is getting scores in the 10000's while the ati x800xt's are only scoring highest of 6k I think why is this the frame rate differences arnt that different in games.
 
Wild guess, but the 6800's are probably in SLI if you're talking about 3dmark05.
 
Yeah my UEE is slower on 3dmark05 than my XT PE is.

XT PE - 6115 stock clocks
UEE - 5811 stock clocks
 
wow greg what kinda cooling are you using to get that amd clocked that high

I think he may have meant the cost of the two cards for SLI.
