i just got a x800xt and im having some problems.

i connected my card to an acer al1916w using dvi. it worked fine running 1440 x 900 (native) for a while, but after a restart my monitor showed black. im running a safe refresh rate on my monitor which is 60 hz. so im using vga now.. it works fine. anyone know why this is happening? i updated lastest drivers, both gfx card and monitor..

and 2nd when i right click properties and go to my settings tab.. my default monitor is shown as the 2 screen. my 1 screen, the monitor i am viewing right now, only supports 1440 x 900 max resolution while my 2 screen supports 2048 x 1536 max res. is this normal or should my 1 be the default monitor with the max viewing res at 2048 x 1536.

any feedback greatly appreciated :)
