I talked to this kid who OC'd his X800PRO to 550/575...............How do you do that!?!?!
mine wont go any hihger than 422/511......Not fair whatsgoing on? Im using Ati tool
 
Ok for reply number one.... would it be wise to lower some pipelines to...12 and then oc?

No. In fact, if you bench I bet you'll find that your XL at 422/511is faster than his Pro at 550/575 :cool:

In all honesty, if that would make a real difference in your max OC I'm sure that people in the enthusiast community would be doing more often. A better bet might be to simply buy aftermarket cooling (getting your temps down usually will help your OC).
