X800xl Agp

Well, I'm sure a lot of you guys have seen the announcement on the frontpage, but X800XL AGP version was announced. Says its starting to ship but we all know what that means .

I was about to get a 6800GT, should I wait for this? Or is the wait going to be too long.

Well, that's a questionable idea to buy it, just because, most likely it will take a while. When it is released, most likely it will be much, -much- higher than MSRP price suggests (299$ right?) so you won't be saving that much money, I'm guessing it'll release around 350 bucks, maybe even 400, in which, you'd be better off going with the 6800GT.

If you don't mind waiting for a videocard that will be a better price-preformance ratio, rather than having brute speed overall, then go for the X800XL, it's a amazing card according to all reviews.

I have to second the 6800GT at the moment, UNLESS the X800XL is at MSRP.
