I would definantly not reccomend running either of those cards on a 300watt psu. I don't think it will run at all allthough it MIGHT. Especially if it's an off brand psu or has low amps on the different rails then it will not work. I would invest in a new psu and maybe a slightly cheaper card like the 6800NU.simonwh said:Hi all,
Changed my mind from the ASUS V9999GE to the X800Pro VIVO. Proberly going to be Club 3D's since they are the cheapest...
What do you think about the card and can it run on a 300W Power Supply?
Hope you can give me some answers,

When you open up your shrink wrapped club 3d box and notice the seal on the esd bag was broken, you just have to wonder (this happened on 5 cards from various vendors, all were the counter strike boxes). None were stable with 16 pipes enabled even at pro speeds. Good luck, and don't post in here complaining about your card once you get it....

I chose a 6800Ultra for my rig, my brother chose a x800pro Vivo which he softmodded and Oc'd to XT PE speeds. We always argue about which one is better. Good Luck!![]()
