I'm having a problem with my new X800Pro in that it only reports 128mb of ram. In windows it says that it has 256 but when I run any benchmark program it says it only has 128mb. I've updated my mobo's bios to the latest version and the bios is set to 256mb vid card. Still it's kind of odd that 3dmark03, 2001se and Aquamark3 all report 128mb ram.

Could it be a mobo problem or could the ATI card's memory be fudged up?

As soon futuremark is back up I can post my info from there...

I've heard of this problem before, actually, but I can't recall a specific solution...although I think the board is part of the problem. But I can tell you by the information I see that the card is using all of its memory properly.

Well I tested the vid card on some newer motherboards and they all read 256mb.. So it's my mobo... Problem solved...
