I picked up an X800GTO, its alot cheaper then an X800pro with very similar specs, is there a reason for this?
specs are 12pipelines @ 400mhz
256M 256bit @ 490mhz

so why is it so much cheaper then an X800pro =p? or x850pro
 
I think it's a newer and cheaper core (in terms of production costs) than the old cores found in the X800Pro.
 
yeah. afaik its just an underclocked X800

not to say you cant EASILY overclock it back.

my AGP x800GTO is running at 500/1100 with no real issues (ONE crash in fear that was more CPU or PSU related)
