x800gto vs x850xt?

That is a pretty good price for the x850, I would definitely get that over the gto. However, I did see some really solid deals on some ATI stuff you might want to check out the FS/FT forum.
 
I would get the x850 because although you can flash the x800gto, it's not guaranteed to unlock into an x800xt (btw=x850xt).
 
im so stuck

for 60 more, i can get the x850gto

and for 60 more on top of that i can get a x1800gto 256mb
 
I had a sapphire X850 XT PE and it was a sick card. I had a Maze 4 on it on a 1/2" MCP 650/BIX 2 waterloop and it OC'ed to 650/650 with no mods at all. I ran it for a year as hard as it would go and never had a problem.

With my fx-53 at 2.75Ghz I would pull about 7400 3Dmark 05. Played everything quite well. My vote is definately for the X850 series:)
 
i can downgrade the motherboard and get the x1800gto for 90 more than the x800... what tto do..
 
the x1800gto is not a good enough of a difference to worry about it.. I would stick with the x850xt and the nicer motherboard.. I had the same card and I absolutly loved it.
 
At monarchcomputer.com (promoter, I'm helping you! Please hook me up with helper's prices), you can get the 7600gt for $136AR. I would opt for that.
 
I think monkeys got the right idea, unless you really want ATI. The 7600GTs really do look sweet
