Just need to confirm something, or even get help with it.

I recently aqquired a Maze 4 GPU block for my Birthday, and I love it, never over 40c load.. I used to idle at higher than that.

But now I want to overclock this video card more.

The problem is... it doesn't artifact in ATiTool, but instead it locks up...

I had it all the way up to 659mhz on the Core and it locked up, and 651mhz on the Memory, which also locked it up.

I did Core and Memory in seperate runs.

Is this a Voltage issue? Or can a GPU BIOS flash help this?

This card seems like a champ to me, it gets 590mhz Core and 590mhz Memory Quake 4 stable, probably one of the harshest games on a Video Card, and that's with the stock cooler hitting nearly 70c.

Thanks for reading my post, any help is appreciated.

did you unlock the pipes?
that will make the most significant performance differnce then a couple mhz..

Of course, I laugh at the fool who doesn't.

And gaining 220mhz on the Core of a video card is quite a difference.
