Basically my old card died on me and im short on cash and need a replacement. I think ive narrowed it down to either the x800GT or the vanilla 6800. Which would be the better way to go, or what other cards should i be looking at considering I only have around 180 dollars to spend. Thanks for helping out.

edit: agp, that is

6800nu, without question. The X800gt can barely even compete with the 6600GT, whereas the 6800nu is a whole pricepoint above the 6600GT in performance.

Plus, with the 6800nu, you can unlock (if that matters to you).

The 6800NU would be your best bet. Great performer and even better with overclocking and unlocking of the pipes.

thanks, as you guys can see, i havent been in the market for a new card for awhile.

Yeah, 6800 for sure. The PCI-Express versions dont unlock though. They use a diffrent core compared to the AGP version. I just overclock mine, since I cant unlock and they are great overclockers, or at least my MSI one is.

Edit:
Didnt see you said AGP, so all I said can be ignored :D
