Well after a couple of days of tweaking, I'm starting to hit the sweet stable spot. I think this is about as good as I care to OC till I get better memory and my exos hooked up to my GPU and perhaps my chipset.

I'm not sure if this is right but am I really scoring highest among all video cards running with CPUs under 3GHz in 3dmark03?

Where are the SLIs?

Some may have saw my post in the other thread regarding my Aquamark scores.

A filtered comparison of 6800 Ultras with 2200 to 2400MHz CPUs has my X800 XL bettering 163 out of 193 of them.

3dmark05:

For those of you considering this card I'd say do it up, you wont be dissappointed. The stock cooling is weak, but an AS4 or better should make a huge difference. IMO it's worth every penny of what they're charging and if you get it at the MSRP you'll be getting one of the best deals ever on a video card.

Seriously...

Even now though, they are pretty damn sweet deals (16 pipes out of the box, there only shortcoming is lack of OCability, But water-cooling or an Arctic silencer would bring it up)

Great card, my dad bought the sapphire x800xl off new egg when they were $389. He loves it. It benched ~11,000 stock on a P4 3.4GHz. Those people waiting for MSRP are kinda fooling themselves, as it is very hard to find any high end PCI-E card at MSRP. It is worth the money though, as it performs neck and neck with the 6800GT. Great card to be sure.

Thank you for giving me my second X800 XL score for 3DMark05!

I had the first one @ 4815. Actually just sold the card and downgraded down to a 6600gt. For as little as I game the 6600gt is a card better suited for me.
