I just finished my MCE 2005 machine and am having major overscan issues with my X800 while using the component output. Anyone have experience with this or should I go back to my VGA -> Component adaptor like the old days?

Specs:

Abit KV8-Max
A64 3400+
1 GIG Kingston HyperX
36G Raptor for OS
250G Drive for recording
X800 Pro
250MCE Capture card
ATI HDTV Wonder
Phillips OEM remote

What res? Are you use Powerstrip? In the Control panel there should be a setting for overscan (I think it might be under "Theater" or something - I don't have my ATi card handy right now). If tweaking the overscan options doesn't work so well you might want to add a custom res using PAL timings, if I was try to do 800x600 and overscan is terrible and tweaking doesn't work then I'd do a PAL timing of 720x576 BUT at 60Hz since we're in the US.

What is this MCE 2005?

Edit: NM, I just read a thread on this. All I had to do was scroll a little :).
