x800 problems, please help

hey im tryin to install a new x800 pro, but whenever i try to boot up with the x800 in , the monitor never comes on
so i put back in my old 9600 se and my monitor works
anyone know why my monitor isnt turning on with the x800 in?
 
well , i was told by a few people to delete the old drivers for my 9600 se , then put in the x800 and try it
i tried this and it worked, but while i was installing the drivers for the x800 the comp crashed
now, im not sure what to do
whenever i put in any agp cards, the monitor doesnt work like before
im using an intel motherboard
