X800 PRO => XT FLASH ... Whats Wrong ?!

Hello all - If u remember - I opened a thread about buying sapphire toxic oem x800 pro vivo -
I live in israel but S_I_N of EOCF is helping me - he bought it and he's testing it ....

anyway - he got the card yesterday - card has red pcb, the yellow connector - and gc16 ram ....
oh - and Serial number is - 630436002908 ...

now - S_I_N did the flash like you linked me - and it went good - driver shows X800 XT PE - but ati tool still shows 12 pipes ... now - S_I_N didnt had time to bench it yet - but is it o.k , or is there something else to do ?

also, another thing is gigabyte bios didnt worked - said it's an ati card and resets ....

is it o.k and im worried too much ? is it a bad bios flash ? what do u say ? thnx all !

looks good as i said :) BTW I flashed it back to origional bios and then back to the xtpe bios still same stuff. But no worries mate I'll tourcher it this weekend
 
So is it o.k that it shows 12 pipes ? or i must be able to use the gigabyte bios to get the card to work like any XT PE ?
 
I flashed my BBA pro vivo with the gigabyte xtpe bios; the first time I got that message about not being a gigabyte card and it reset, 2nd try got the same message but it proceeded with the flash....ATItool shows 16 pipes and 520/560 default...

I stayed with the gigabyte bios rather than doing another flash and it's working fine...3dmark05> http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm05=84399
 
ok finally got the gigabyte bios to flash it opened the pipes. best I got on it stock cooling was 475/550 not to shabby I guess. Better cooling and I bet core can be raised 20ish at least

I'll leave that part to S&M to do. He's happy with the reported results so far.
