I ordered an x800 pro refurb from newegg. Newegg clearly stated that it didn't come with accessories, possibly accessories needed for operation but I didn't expect this problem haha. So I ordered it and then i was reading some of the reviews and apparently someone else got the refurb and it didn't come with a power cable that is neccessary. I'm not at all blaming newegg cause this was my mistake. But where the hell should i try to get this darned cable? haha. I'm gonna be getting a bunch of stuff in later this week to build me a new system and I don't wanna be held up by some stupid power cable. I can't even run the new system with my old video card cause it's agp ARRGHH. Any suggestions?

Dude...it's just a hard drive power connector on the card. Just plug it in and shutup.

I'm not so sure it is actually. so you shut up ;). this picture makes it seem like it isn't:

plus the guy in the newegg review is either dumb or it is proprietary.

i think this MIGHT be what i need:

anyone have the card and know??

If you bought a pci-express cardthen yes thats what you need, unless ur psu already has it. If you bought agp then just plug in the hd power cable, either way you dont need anything in the yellow slot.

If you bought a PCI-e car then you need a PCI-e power connector. I don't have an PCI-e rig, so I can't confirm that that's it, but it looks like it to me

Yes it's pci-express not agp card. I bought a new power supply that is atx 2.0 compliant just for this upgrade I'm doing. I hopefully it'll have the proper connector :(

UPDATE: My new power supply has:

1 x PCI Express graphics card power connector

yayayayayya. so i think this will do the trick? DOES ANYONE HAVE THIS CARD??

Yeah that's a pcie connector and if your new psu has a pcie connector, you're golden. :)
