Hey guys, just wondering if this is worth an RMA... I've noticed Knights of the Old Republic starts artifacting when my card goes above 65C. I haven't noticed any other games doing this, and I have other problems with KoTOR (it crashes periodically when loading)...

Any opinions?
 
Is your card overclocked or anything? If it is, try running it at stock speeds and if it artifacts, just RMA it for another one. If it isn't, then get someone elses opinion who also owns one and plays KOTR :D
 
Yeah, have you modified or overclocked the card in any way?

If it only happens in that game, might not be the end-all of things. You can use ATI Tool to manually change your fan control (which will lower temps), and also you can use and underclock profile for the game if it's specific. Some other things can cause instability, too, like Fastwrites and VPU Recover.
