im haveing a delema lol. I want a good card $399 or less. Which can run hl2, farcy, Halo all the top notch 2004 games, And i dont really know what to buy. i have geforce 4 ti 4200 here 274/554 speeds. And i played farcry and it worked well when i got in the jungle LAAAAAAAAG lol and some of the trees wherent right. Like the tree polygons where wrong so if you could point out a good card for me in price. That would be great Thanks.

2. There aren't any HL2/D3 Benchmarks just yet, so unless you're Gabe Newell or John Carmack etc, you really can't make an end-all decision in regards to games that haven't come out yet.

3. How you can be an ATI fanboy without owning an ATI card is beyond me, but really the only gamer-directed video card that ATI makes that is $399 at the moment is the X800 Pro, so I'd say go with that, or wait till HL2 comes out or benchmarks are released for it and get a more powerful card for that same price.
 
Look at the [H]ot Deals forum under the Visiontek Xtasy X800Pro for a special Pre-Order price of $329.99. This card normally will retail at the store for $399.99 and $400+ at other locations. Only thing is, they don't have them in stock. But I'll wait if it will save me $70+ for an X800Pro. Rumor has it that they will be in on 06/28/04, but that is rumor.
