after being on Pre order for over 2 months i cancelled my x800xt when they moved the expected ship date to october the 15th, so i ordered a 9800 pro to last me til the next gen after x800 gpus become available with all the bells and whistles of sm3 and ps3

That's strange. I've had mine since it was first released last month,and it's been fabulous. Got it from a pre-order through CompUSA during one of thier 10% off upgrades coupon deals, so I got it for about $450 shipped.

My Gateway X800XT pre-order is still showing 8/3 as the ship date...I hope it sticks...I
dont mind doing the "intirim card" thing but I really like the $433.58 price.
 
I'm about ready to cancel my order from CDW. I ordered a BFG 6800GT from bestbuy, and if it gets here first then buhbye to the x800. I'm not waiting till august and paying an extra $100 for a card I should've had for a month now.
