x800 mod with before/after #'s

Just got done reflashing my x800 pro vivo I got from compusa yesterday to a x800pe. My specs are xp2600 333 fsb a7n8x deluxe, 2x512 kingston hyperx 3200 at 6,3,3,2

doom 3 is showing at 1024x768 high quality very little differance was 50 now its about 51.5 Guess thats cpu limited.

The flash was very easy to do and so far havent noticed any problems with stability or artifacts except on the trool test in 03 there is some slight tearing havent noticed it in my fav game bf1942 desert combat or vietnam.

Id say the gains from pro to pe are pretty good especially since it was free. I know my cpu is holding me back but I may be able to squeeze another year out of it still. The differance between this cards speed and the former 9800 I had in here is night and day.
 
Overclock your processor. I have a t-bred 2600+ @ 2.22 GHz like in the sig, it runs without a hitch. Even on half way decent PC2700 ram. It will boost your Doom 3 score a little. But also your games. Surprisingly I actually have some problems with Half-Life/CS. at 1024x768 I get these slowdowns when a lot of crap is on the screen. Dips to like 40-60's depends on how many enemies and gibs etc... Dunno, maybe it's the drivers? Everything else seems to run alright.
 
I bumped my fsb up to 200. Didnt think this board could do it since its a version 1.1 but it seems to be taking. Got my multiplier at 11x200. I broke one of the bridges on this chip a year ago to allow multiplier manipulation. Voltage at 1.7

My new 3dmark score is 18101 Never thought i would see that on this rig and my new doom3 score is 54 fps. 3dmark03 did not change at all actually down like 5 points.

Would it be worthwhile to throw a xp3200 barton chip in this board? I was so badly itching to do a motherboard upgrade and cpu but with so many new technologies just rolling out and rolling out soon nforce 4 I think it would be wise to wait till they mature a bit. Im extremely satisfied with the speed bump the x800 gave me makes me like my computer again.
 
You'll need to download the CPC "off" version of the A7N8Xdeluxe Uber1007 bios. Find it at NforcersHQ.com

2x 512M on NForce2 chipsets usually need CPC turned off (its on by default in the bios) and there is no user selection for it. You should be able to hit 210-220Mhz FSB x10 on that chip, with that ram @ 2.9Vdimm.
