Hi guys :D my first post here so please be gentle :p

I have a Connect 3D X800 Pro VIVO with 16 pipes enabled. My question is, even though the GPU overclocks awsome (570+ easy  ) the memory isnt going very far over stock speeds. I have tried the retail XT bios from paddys guide and also the pencil trick but no luck on the mem.

Would any be able to suggest something to enable to to jack up the mem speed to 560 or near abouts? would really appreciate the help.

Thanks :)

Just so you know, getting to 560+ on an actual Retail x800xt-PE is not always possible, let alone on a modded Pro which (if it's the same as a reference model) has RAM only rated to 500mhz!

In reality the 1.67ns RAM that is on the PE seems to barely be better than the 2.0ns RAM on the Pro's. The Pro's RAM goes higher than it's supposed to and the PE's goes lower, and the end result is that they are pretty close. But still getting to 560 on a Pro is a minor miracle, not a common event. Just because a few people did it does not mean you should be able to at all.

I would just put on some BGA sinks, look online for instructions on upping your voltage, add in a nice card cooler like this,

http://www.newegg.com/app/viewProductDesc.asp?description=35-888-112&depa=0

And hope for the best. But I wouldn't get my expectations too high.

Your card is doing very well core-wise. While my X800 Vivo hits 550mem easily, it gets frazzled if I put the core over 510. I have yet to try the pencil-volt trick though. Every card just seems to be a different beast.
