x800 gto2 bios

so i have a x800 gto2 and i was wondering if i should leave the x850 xt bios. would this be ok, has anyone else done it?
when i had an x800 pro and modded it to a x800 xt pe i left the bios as the xt pe becuase i could achieve better overclocks becuase more volts would be snet to the chip
is this the same for the x800 gto2? becuase right now my core can only got up to 545, but i can get my mem up to 610 easy
 
Well if it's working then go ahead.

But with more voltage it will surely shorten the life of that video card.

My x800GTO^2 hits 600/600 :) Unlocked too.
