Alright, I've got myself a x800 gt. This latest build was more about processor power than gaming ability, so the 100 bucks this video card cost me was about the limit. I've got it clocked up to 530 core and 560 mem. I understand due to the 256 bit interface it's sporting, it should be well suited to more AA/AF. I've been playing with settings for a whlie, and I'm having a hard time finding the sweet spot. It seems to like 1024/768 ok, but performance isn't good enough to make me think it'd take any AA/AF. Tips?

I myself have a Radeon X800 XT PE and oblivion runs at least acceptable (over 25 fps outside and over 40 fps inside) @ 1024x768 with everything (except shadows) maxed out. I can't give you tips exactly what to do, but I'll direct you to the site which suggests many changes to the oblivion.ini file that can be found in My Documents/My Games/Oblivion. I got an X800 GTO 8X AGP and it is running Oblivion at 1024x768, and i believe i have AA and AF up to like 4/8? maybe? not sure dont have my PC here at school. But it runs it just fine and looks pretty too.
