okay so im waiting for HL2 benchmarks before i buy a new card. i have one question : does anyone know if ati x800 will come out with a cheaper 128mb version? did they only release the expensive one first to make money or is that the only one they plan to release? thanks

128MB cards died with the 9800Pros, I wouldn't expect to see any 128MB flagship cards ever again. Look forward to 256 being the cheap ones and 512 being the expensive ones, hopefully in the next round.
