So I'm thinking about getting a new mobo b/c I'm fed up with my DS3R and can't seem to find any fixes. ANYWAYS, do you have any suggestions for an x38 (i really like the pcie2.0)

Here are some I was thinking about:

(I'd prefer to stay away from Gigabyte if possible) Anyways, please let me know what you think.

On another note, the pcie2.0 really worth it? I hear alot of x38 mobo's have trouble with their BIOS's recognizing 45nm chips...

Your thoughts please,

Heres my rig:

8800gts 320
e6750
2x1gb Crucial Ballistix
Corsair 520hx

I just picked up two Maximus Formula's. I got the chance to install one last night and the install went very smoothly and the build seems rock solid. I haven't tried to OC it yet but I am eager to see what it can do.

The only thing against ASUS is their warranty, from what I hear...I guess I'm just spoiled with eVGA and their EAR program. However, if the board is a solid board, well then, you shouldn't have to deal with RMAs :p. Only time will tell...
