Just wondering, what last generation card is the X300 comparable too (ex. 9600, 5200, etc.)?

And how big of a performance gain is 128mb over 64mb? I was "absent" in computer gaming hardware, so I kind of lost some concept. Thanks in advance.

Well a X600 is comparable to a 9600. So what ever generation came before the 9600, is what im guessing the X300 is comparable to.

If you are planning on to game on a X300, I would advise you not get this card. I have a X600, and I run low settings on all newer games. I can do high settings in Source surprising but no AA or AF. Far Cry I can get medium settings. Any other game that is on the newer side, is all low settings.

I dont know how much an advantage having 128mb over 64mb would be on a X300. I would just go for the 128mb version.

i have it currently on my dell 6000 its really a uped version of a 9200 its really a "9300" cuz x means 10 so its the radeon10300 = x300 and the x600 means 10600 which would be like the 9600 and so on x700 ect...its ok...i can play bf2 all low but overall i think there need to be a better one like the x550
