X299 for quad gpu?

I'm looking to explore gpu machine learning.
There are many x99 options which support 4x double slot gpu's (not SLI) but I haven't seen any in the new x299?

x8x8x8x8 is plenty adequate for this use case I'm just looking for a board which will physically fit without risers....

Looks like the EVGA x299 Dark might be the only game in town right now "soon."
