Hi Everyone,

I'm contemplating picking up the X2, but I've read conflicting posts that state v-sync can't be used on that card(crosfire/SLI) due to problems with AFR.

I run 90% of my games with it-I can't stand tearing, so it will be an essential function.

So, is this fact or fiction?

Don't know about the X2 but I can use vsync just fine on my 4850 Crossfire setup, so I would assume the X2 would be the same.

NP. If you have any specific scenarios in mind I can try to test them for you. I know vsync is working via console and fraps confirmation, I haven't done any real checking to see if it hurts CF performance a lot.

Just wanted to make sure that using v-sync didn't cause any greater hit with AFR than on a single gpu.

I apply it on all my games-can't tolerate tearing of any degree.

I played with 2 4850's in CF and had no problems using V-Sync. I am awaiting my 4870 X2.
