It's a $50 difference (AMD's cheaper), and the system must be FINISHED (not on order) by Friday. The contenders:
Athlon 64 X2 4200+ Socket AM2 on an ASUS M2N-E
versus
Intel Pentium D 930 (3.4GHz) on an ASUS P5B Vanilla
This is actually a quickly-thrown-together server. I'm building two: one runs IIS and one runs SQL. Stability is more important that speed, since it will only be serving five users at most.
