Hey

Ive got a X2 3800+ Toledo with the Zalman Cu7700 heatsink and fan.

Im running right now 2.75ghz at 1.35v, 275FSBx10, HTT (set to auto) and the mem clock is 333 (5/6). CPUID is showing 229mhz which I guess is DDR458

my cpu temp is at 38C idle and at fully load Ive never seen it go over 48C using prime95 for 1hr and no errors.

Do you guys think those temps are good or are they too high?

The temps aren't bad, but make sure you go 24hrs on dual instances of prime95 (small fft).

what is weird is that even at stock speeds the cpu temp is around 36 to 37C idle so there is not much of a difference. I guess since Im not touching the voltage the temps don't jump all that much

such is the wonder of the X2 3800+ and its price/peformance/overclockability ratio.....
I like $300 processors that run at $1000 processor speeds.

Yeah I oc'ed mine to 2.5 using stock HSF and now I'll wait until I get me a newer HSF and then I'll try to push it more. :)
