x1950xt driver crash

I have a X1950xt I am getting a driver stopped responding at 63 c, i have just changed my graphics cooler, the idle temp is 40 c. with my stock heatsink i used to get a driver crash at about 75 c.

i think it may be the memory getting to hot, also could you advise me on the best placement of side fans. should they be two blowing air in or the bottom blowing in and top blow out.


can you give me a solution to stopping this problem.

Set your fan speed with rivatuner at 80% and have some fan blowing at the back of the card. See if that stop the crashes that you're getting.

the speed is full, the new cooler is connected to a manual fan controller. The new cooler is a antec vortexx.

i have two side fans blowing in.

Its probably a silly question, but do you have ram heatsinks? I bought my x1950 used with an aftermarket cooler so im unsure if it retails with them or not.
