X1900XTX Overclocking ?

Hey guys. I recently built a new system with an x1900xtx in it. Now, I went with the Cat 3.8 drivers and decided to try out the overdrive feature. First off, it is showing the clock speeds as 600/500. Secodn off, I tried the automatic configuration, but it doesn't change any of the clocks. it has the REQUESTED as like 640/650, or whtever it is, but it never changes the CURRENT clocks. I also tried using ATITool, and ATI Tray tools, nither of them have overclocking enabled...im kinda at my wits end here. anyone got a solution or suggestion?

I'd try the Cat 6.8 drivers.

You wont see the clocks change until you are in 3D. the card has separate 2D and 3D clocks.
You can watch the clock speeds change with Rivatuner or benchmark them to see the difference.
